Happily, a good time is had by all.(Source: UBM) Of course, no one knows who the winners are until the night. For each category, various companies are informed that they are finalists, but the ultimate victor remains a secret until the announcement is made on-stage.To the best of my knowledge, we’ve never had an Oscar-esque ‘Moonlight,’ not ‘La La Land’ blunder. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we will maintain our unblemished record this year, because yours truly has been invited to present the Ultimate Products Awards. I will, of course, be dressed appropriately for the occasion — I will be sporting a formal [black and white] Hawaiian shirt (along with trousers, socks, and shoes, of course).The ACE Awards Ceremony is the place to be see and be seen. An individual ticket costs $199, or your company can reserve its very own ten-person table for $1,850.Will you be attending ESC Silicon Valley and/or the ACE Awards? If so, be sure to stop me and say “Hi.” I’ll be the one in the Hawaiian shirt. As always, all you have to do is shout “Max, Beer!” or “Max, Bacon!” to be assured of my undivided attention.
